White Cabinets

So we thought we had decided on the color of cabinets in our new house

 (the Espresso color), but I keep coming back to wanting white cabinets. Our house is going to be small (tiny) so I think having white cabinets will help make it feel larger, lighter, and more open. The hubs doesn't like the idea of white, so I want to hear what other people think about the subject. So you love or hate white cabinets?

The House

To give you the basics, the house is a small 1053 sq ft and it's currently got a living room, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms and the master bedroom has a small closet like room off to the side, and 1 sort of kitchen.

Our plan is to add a workable kitchen, another bathroom, laundry area, and another bedroom without adding on to the house.

Whew.

It will still be small, but we're trying to make the space that is there more workable. I think it will be great, but I'll admit to having panic attacks thinking about the lack of storage and space every now and then.

Before, Before Pics

Well, here are pictures of our house and what we're dealing with. ☺

Starting out with this small room off of the master bedroom

Our plan for this room is to bring in the side a foot and half of it will be turned into a small (tiny) bathroom for the master bedroom and the other half will be a closet for a room we're adding in.

The plan in this bedroom is to move the wall to where this closet is and make the room a little bit smaller so we can have more space for our kitchen.

We're planning on leaving the living room area where it is, but we'll be moving the door over to wall where the window is.

The kitchen will be moved to this area.

We'll be taking out this closet, chimney and furnace.

Our plan is that this corner will be where we'll be putting the second bathroom

The plan for this area is adding a room to where the current bathroom is, and the laundry area will be here.

We'll be leaving this room alone as far as leaving it the size it is...obviously we'll paint and get new carpet etc...
